Hey Everybody!

This will be short and I apologize. Transfers are this week and I am STAYING! I get to keep my
Hermana Villegas and we have A LOT of work to do before next transfer! We have some
potential investigators that could be on the road to baptism and we really need to make it happen
in the next six weeks! SO. MUCH. EXCITEMENT!
As many of you know my family will be moving to Alma, MI where my father has accepted the
job as Athletic Director at Alma College. I am so proud of my father and for all of his
accomplishments since being Athletic Director at the University of Findlay. I struggled with the
news, but on Thursday one of the Elders, Elder Ahrens, in our district gave me a priesthood
blessing of comfort, and I have since, felt God's love that this is the right decision for my family.
I know that the priesthood is the power of God and through the hands of even 18-year-old Elders,
miracles can be performed! If you have not seen the Mormon Message "Sanctify Yourselfs"
please do.

My companion and I had the opportunity to witness a soon-to-be Elder be ordained to the office
of Elder and receive the Melchizedek priesthood. What an INCREDIBLE experience! The Spirit
just consumed the room and all that were gathered in it! WOW!
Hermana Villegas and I had a sweet experience yesterday when an inactive husband returned to
church since we started working with him two weeks ago. It was so bittersweet and I can only
imagine the joy of his wife. What a beautiful experience to bring someone back to the fold of
God. We will continue to work with them and keep him strong, because the goal is to have them
sealed in the temple! A set of our Elders referred us to a family who all non-members and the
mom is hispanic. We visited them on Friday and we spent a good long time getting to know the
family, and how it went with the Elders first lesson. They have so much potential to come to this
gospel. The daughters and son attend Young Men and Young Womens So that is AWESOME!
Folding our arms!
Sunday morning we were in a stake coordination meeting with a stake and one of the two Ward
Mission Leaders' there said, "What is a soul worth to you? What would you do for that soul?
What would you do to make sure they inherit the Celestial Kingdom?" That was a moment I will
never forget when the Spirit hit me so hard and I was overcome because I want my friends to
have the joy that I have in the gospel. I want everyone to come with me to the Celestial
Kingdom. I love this quote by Jeffrey R. Holland that really directs the importance of bringing
souls unto Christ.
Elder Jeffrey R. Holland taught: The first thing you will do when an investigator tells you
he or she had not read and prayed about the Book of Mormon is be devastated!
Much of the time we are just too casual about all of this. This is eternal life. This is the
salvation of the children of God. Eternity hangs in the balance. It is the most
important path this investigator will ever walk. But if he or she doesnt know that, at least
you do! So take control of this situation. Teach with power and authority, and then be

devastated if the first steps toward commandment-keeping and covenant-keeping have

not been successfully begun
This is ETERNAL LIFE! I need to get a move on and start inviting my friends back home to be
apart of the happiness of this gospel because I want them to be with me in the eternities and not
looking down at them saying, "I am sorry I never told you! I should have told you!" Brothers and
Sisters, if you love your friends and family, bring them to this gospel. I challenge this to all of
you with myself included as I have two names now of two people I want to specifically contact
and share this gospel with.
I hope you all have a FABULOUS week! Keep the faith! Trust God, and believe in good things
to come!
Con Amor,
Su Hermana Rackley
