About:
The Midwest Infuencers Conference was born out of the need for an event devoted to Midwest Bloggers and Influencers. While national
conferences come to the Midwest region occassionally, they do not stay in the area. Bloggers and Influencers in the Midwest vary greatly in
where they live, work or their focus and have a unique set of needs that larger conferences may not focus on.
MIC plans on offering attendees different learning level options, networking opportunities and friendly competitions. Brands and
Influencers can connect in a low stress atmosphere, to help all brands grow and thrive.
The first MIC Bloggers Conference will be held in Chicago, Illinois in October 2015. The central location will allow influencers easy access
to the conference and local venues. Each year MIC plans on on moving to another large Midwest city so that it is accessible by attendees,
while focusing on great cities and activities in our own back yard!

How will I be able to track blogger interaction during the conference?
The hashtag for the event will be used throughout the weekend. You can follow us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook and look for the
hashtags #MICBLOGGERS15 and #MICBLOGGERS. Bloggers are all over social media and can help spread awareness of your brand.
How about after the conference?
We will provide sponsors social media data with the event hashtags as well as the trending terms from the event. Approximate reach, social
media mentions etc will be included. We recommend sponsor presence at the conference in the expo area or as an attendee (depending on
your sponsorship type). This way you can make face to face connections with bloggers. Strong and long term relationships are built more
in person than via email.
How many influencers will be attending?
For our first year, our goal is 150 bloggers/influencers. There are thousands of bloggers in the Midwest region, and while we would love
to have every one of them join us, we are realistic and want to keep the first year manageable. As we grow, we anticipate that number to
increase with us.
Is it only limited to bloggers and brands based in the Midwest?
Not at all. Often our readers are nationwide if not world wide. We welcome all bloggers and influencers with open arms.
I cant afford a large sponsorship package - will I still be represented at the conference? Can I come as an attendee to meet
bloggers?
Please email us for different ways to be involved. We will have network/sponsor only tickets available and would love to have you for
smaller networking opportunities. You are of course invited to enjoy the classes and events as well!
Will it only be big blogs attending MIC?
No! We welcome blogs and influencers of any size. We strongly believe that even the smallest blogger can have a major impact, and love to
see them grow their brands and businesses.
Where will MIC be next year?
This is a trade secret! At this time were not ready to reveal the 2016 location, but will gladly as we get closer to the 2015 event.
