Winter Benchmark- 208.7
- January eValuate Math Data
Questions # 4, 17 and 24
Looked over Reading and Math Evaluate as well as NWEA and decided that Math interventions are working.
We will switch to 5-6 weeks of Reading Intervention with explicit instruction on best practices and good reading
strategies. We are also going to start a grade level reading intervention in which students are encouraged to
read independently through 'DEAR" time after lunch and during small group centers. Students will read their
library books and work on summarizing and reviewing what they have read. Book reviews will be posted
according to genre so students can peruse and see if any stories spark their interest..
We will use NWEA Winter Reading data to level students for intervention block. We will aim to start February
9th. Intervention will go 11:15- 12:00. We will have 6 weeks of reading intervention before switching back to
Math. Jodi will take low group, Kelly - Approaching, Chris- High.
