Conduct RFXs for various categories, analyzing Bid Proposal, discussing bid
proposal with supplier, category managers and performing source selection and
fair value with high focus in driving Cost Reduction.
2. Develop RFX (RFI/RFP/RFQ) documents including the pricing sheets, and run
the events through eSourcing /eAuction tools.
3. Ensure timely availability of raw material and optimizing TAT.
4. Inventory management and onus of disposing of aged inventory
5. Develop supplier evaluation model/supplier selection criteria based on the
financial strengths/ratings, subcategory spend profile, supplier performance,
volume forecasts, and design specifications
6. Collaborating with the global category manager, develop subcategory
strategies & drive execution through implementation at the BU level
(coordinating with the sourcing teams)
7. Acting in-charge to manage regional & global category efforts (engage &
coordinate BU Sourcing teams to execute strategies) - e.g., gather spend
baseline data, lead negotiations, cascade communication, monitor supplier
performance and contract compliance, etc.
8. Suggesting the alternate and Low Lead Time & Cost component to the
respective category heads
9. Perform end to end vendor identification/ rating/ performance development
and relationship management.
10. Review and analyze client requirements. Assist determining best
procurement strategy to meet the needs of client requirements.
11. Co-ordinate with Product Management and India Sales Team for monthly
forecasts
12. Conduct end to end market analysis/industry analysis and spend analysis
with supplier and vendor profiling for Fortune 500 FMCG major.
13. Responsible for developing strategic and tactical business plans for existing
Retail business units and potential new Retail businesses.
14. Manage complete sourcing activities, which include Logistics, Marketing,
Capital and several other categories.
