Pre-installation

Check if the sleeve level and thickness of the

pipes are as per approved shop drawings.
Seal all sleeves as per specification.
Check if sizes of the earthing wires are as per
the approved shop drawing.
Check cable trays, trunking, and equipment
Equipotentially bonded as per project
specification.
Check if locations and sizes of earth bar are
as specification and approved shop drawings.

Installation

Check if that earthing wire(s) is connected to

equipment as per shop drawing in proper
way.
Check the level & location of earth pit as per
approved shop drawings.
Check if earth pit fixing is as specification
and approved shop drawings.
Check the connection(s) of earthing wire to
earthing rod electrode.

Testing

Check if earthing resistance reading is less

than 1 Ohm and submit earth resistance
report.
Check Earth Continuity test for all metal
parts and equipment of building.
