Camp Firefly

Camp Firefly is a camp specifically designed for children ages 7-16 who are diagnosed with social disorders
such as Asperger's Syndrome, Non-Verbal Learning Disorder, Executive Functioning Disorders, Severe
Learning Disabilities, or ADHD. Camp programming is specially designed to address the needs of children with
impaired social skills and includes activities such as: sports, swimming, lakefront activities, canoeing, arts and
crafts, ropes course, archery, outdoor living, therapeutic group time, and a variety of creative evening programs
and outings.

Camp Daypoint is a day camp adventure for children ages 5 to 9. The perfect introduction to camp, Camp
Daypoint is non-stop fun in a comforting environment. Small groups, each with two leaders, give children the
attention they need during swimming, crafts, hikes, games and other activities. Amid all the fun, campers gain
independence, grow in confidence, discover new skills and learn respect for others and the outdoors. Camp
Daypoint also eases the transition to Camp Needlepoint, the residential program. Children are at the camp from
about 9:00 a.m to 3:30 p.m. Buses pick up and return campers to Minneapolis and St. Paul locations.

Camp P.O.P. (Parent Organized Project)

Camp POP is a unique 6 week program, based in De Pere, Wisconsin for children wth autism and/or cognitive
disabilities. Children attend the camp Monday through Thursday from 9:00am till 3:00 pm. Each day has a
structured activity within the community for the children to participate in. The staff consists of professional
teachers and aides that assist these special children and teach them everyday life skills.

Camp Pow Wow offers residential and day camp options for people of all ages and a variety of abilities.
Campers make friends and develop new skills through experiences in swimming, fishing, canoeing, arts and

Camp Tikyah

Camp Tikvah is a division of Camp Ramah in Wisconsin developed in 1973 for children with special needs.
Tikvah provides all of the opportunities of the Ramah experience with additional staffing and support for
campers with learning and social difficulties, including Asperger's Syndrome. Through individualized
programming, supported by highly-skilled staff, teens in the Tikvah program develop friendships, have fun and
learn in formal and informal Jewish settings. Tikvah offers a full 8-week session for teenage campers, a 4-week
"Taste of Tikvah" option for first-time younger campers, as well as the Tikvah Vocational Program for qualified

Epilepsy Foundation Southern Wisconsin Camp Phoenix

Camp Phoenix provides a fun, safe, residential camping experience for children ages 8 to 17with a primary
diagnosis of Epilepsy. The weeklong residential camp is conducted at the Wisconsin Lions Camp, located in
Rosholt, Wisconsin. Specially trained epilepsy counselors are present.
ADULT RETREAT: Epilepsy Foundation sponsors a 3-day, 2-night retreat at Wisconsin Lions Camp in Rosholt,
Wisconsin. Activities such as hiking, boating, swimming, camp fire, wagon rides, crafts, volleyball, archery and
fishing are available throughout the weekend. Small discussion groups and informative programs are also
offered to the participants. This retreat is designed for adults with epilepsy who are able to live independently.

Accessible Christian camping for people with disabilities. Inspiration Center, opened in 1975, is nestled in
quiet woods among 155 acres in southeast Wisconsin. All buildings are wheelchair accessible and connected by

The Tourette Syndrome Camp YMCA Camp Duncan

The Tourette Syndrome Camp is a residential camping program designed for girls and boys ages 8 - 16+ whose
primary diagnosis is Tourette Syndrome and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. The goal of the camp is to allow
children with TS an opportunity to meet other children, who share similar experiences and coping mechanisms
in a fun, safe, and positive environment. There is also nurse available to assist with medical needs. Campers
must be able to handle routine daily living skills (i.e. dressing, self-hygiene) and have the ability to function in a
group setting. Camp Duncan is situated on a semi-private lake in northeastern Illinois, just south of the
Wisconsin border.
