Students as Active Learners
Throughout this lecture, there are multiple opportunities for students to be engaged,
active learners. We will be showing multiple videos that the students will be discussing
with one another and as a class. We are also giving a small assessment at the end of
the class that covers content from the lecture, so students must be engaged in order to
answer the questions correctly. Questions and student input will be encouraged
throughout the lesson.

Elements of UDL
Videos - multiple means of representation
Talking with neighbors - multiple means of engagement
Posting slides prior to lecture - multiple means of engagement
Assessment at end (exit card) - multiple means of action/expression
