Today, Johnson County District Court Judge Brenda Cameron sentenced Roy Lee Maney in case
number 13CR2372.
On October 11, 2013, Prairie Village Police Officers worked an automobile accident involving
Mr. Maney and five other vehicles. One of the drivers, Tiffany Leigh Mogenson died at the scene.
Judge Cameron sentenced Roy Maney to a controlling term of 188 months in custody of the Kansas
Department of Corrections.

On February 4, 2015, Maney pleaded guilty to the charges of 2nd degree

murder and leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in injury or death.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Lannie Ornburn and Ann Henderson and
was investigated by the Prairie Village Police Department and the Johnson County Crime Lab.
