Assumptions
List and describe the assumptions made in the decision to charter this project. Please note that all
assumptions must be validated to ensure that the project stays on schedule and on budget.
-Land is purchased by Amazon previously.
-All additional expenses on top of the basic construction is paid for by Amazon.
-Sponsors supply needed materials at a discounted rate/for free.
-There are no problems faced for Amazon to build a warehouse at the location.
-There were no shortage of materials as the team is very experienced and knowledgeable.
-The process of construction is followed by the plan without surprises.

Key Stakeholders
Identify the key stakeholders and describe their roles and responsibilities.

Resource

Role & Responsibility

Boss

High power and high interest, oversee project

Teams/ Coworkers

Backbone of the project, groups consist of different tasks

Suppliers

Supply our materials through contractor

Family

High interest in but lower power in project

Potential Risks
Identify the potential risks and obstacles at the high level that may cause the project to fail.

Risk

Potential Impact and Mitigation Strategy

Fire/explosion

A fire could cause worker injury, thousands to millions in product

damages and building damages. Install sprinkler system, fire exits,
and fire extinguishers throughout the warehouse. Prohibit
smoking around charging station. Have workers be familiar with
procedure and fire exit routes and meet ups during
training/orientation.

Product Damage

Costly replacement fees and insurance for products. Evaluate the

conditions needed for each product (temperature control,
humidity, weight, special instructions) in order to reduce chances
of damage.

Worker Injury

About 100 employees are killed and 95,000 injured every year
while operating forklifts in all industries. Forklift turnovers account
for a significant percentage of these fatalities. Injuries happen
here when forklifts run off the dock, products fall on employees or
equipment strikes a person. Back injuries may occur from
improper lifting or overexertion. Chemical burns are possible if
spills of hazardous materials occur. Drive forklifts safely, never
exceeding 5 mph and slow down in congested areas, those with
slippery surfaces, or on docks/dock plates. Train, evaluate and
certify all operators to ensure that they can operate forklifts
safely. Provide general ergonomics training and task-specific
training.
