An anonymous writer
discusses in his blog, Humans
Are Weird, That war is in fact
needed and beneficial. We all
hold different views on what
peace actually is so it will
never be reached.
To think that peace can
proliferate more peace, using
only itself as a catalyst, is
absurd. Canvasses need paint.
Cars need fuel. Peace needs
war.

Is bringing back troops
home soon will result in
disaster? Or is keeping
them there really the reason
for the rise of violence?
Troops and weapons show
force which causes fear and
show pro war but is this
really needed to begin the
ideas of world peace?
More than two out of

made things worse..

Article:
Matthew Christodoulou, known for his
work on The Collective Evolution articles
online. In You Cannot Fight for Peace to
Experience Peace He believes that world
peace will never be meant through
violence. Fighting is a word shared with
negative thoughts and brings
terror/torture.
Lets move forward from here, remember
that we are all connected, all one energy
of the same source experiencing itself in
unique and individual fragments and
forms.

QUESTION
Why do we
fight for
peace?

Context:
While reading The Book Thief
I saw a lot of violence towards one
another to reach peace. This
made me think why exactly do we
fight for peace? The past dealt with
solving issues with war and is still
in effect to this day so is it really
useful? Is this act really an
effective way to reach the goal of
world peace?

Website:
Younger children write
poems about world peace
and how it can start by just
one small act of kindness
and love. They no longer
want to grown up in fear and
death but love and
happiness.
A single rose can make a
garden, A man for peace can
change the world.

Video/Interview:
Hamid Rahimi is an Hazara
boxer from Afghanistan who grew
tired of war in his homeland. He
thought that peace can be reach by
other actions, still involving
violence since he is a boxer. He
made the Fight 4 Peace project
that would rise awareness based
on the large crowd tuning in. He
claims peace cannot be figured
through war and force, but by
realization of right and wrong.
..I think its possible to establish
peace but there has to be the
desire, the will to do it..

Leah Rabin was the widow of
Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak
Rabin. She supported the peace
efforts of her husband worked
further for a solution. War
brought pain and was not
accepted by everyone. To bring
to an end we must reshape
peoples dreams and work
together not against each other.
Unfortunately, reality
teaches the harsh lesson
that dreams are not
always completely
fulfilled, but my quest for
peace is not dulled, just
reshaped.
