Immigration policies-An ethical approach

I think that illegal immigrants and U.S are both benefited from
Illegal immigration. If there were not illegal workers, Americas industry
would have to pay what its stated by law to the American workers and
that is more expensive. So American Industry could not compete against
other countries, which have low costs and wages. On the other hand the
illegal immigrants are benefited because even the lowest American
wages are higher than wages they would perceive in Mexico. Immigrants
would suffer from the same labor exploitation in their home country, but
with a much lower salary. Usually people who emigrate this way have
low or none academic background and this doesnt allow them to get
another kind of job. Illegal immigration should not be considered as an
unethical act because people are doing this by necessity. The total
benefit of their action is larger than the case if they stayed in their home
country and the U.S industry didnt have illegal workers. The U.S.
government is turning a blind eye but at the same time they are
criminalizing it and thats an unethical action.
