1. Brain Pop

This website was created in 1999 to help students learn about science, health, math,
language arts, social studies, and also reading and writing through interactive activities
and videos. Brain Pop Jr. and regular Brain Pop is animated website that consist of grade
levels kindergarten through sixth grade. Working in a special education class students
will be able to interact with the website and in some instances, this site also provide
lesson plans that tie into Common Core lesson for each state.
2. ABC Mouse

ABC Mouse is a website that focuses on children in the age group between 2-7. They
provide online curriculum for the subjects reading, math, science, art& colors, and music.
This website can give children a head start in learning the basics even before they even
enter school. For children with learning disabilities this online curriculum starts them off
at the easiest level of learning.
3. Do2Learn

This website provides thousands of free pages of activities for children with disabilities.
To help students with social skills and behavioral regulation. This website would be
perfect to use with students who suffer from autism, which one of the key elements are
problems with social skills.
4. Heartland Area Education Agency

This website works with public and private schools to help provide educational services
for all types of children in Iowa. The staff members who are a part of this agency serve
students from birth to the age of 21. Just because this agency is based in Iowa it is still a
reliable resource that can provide activities and lesson plans for students with disabilities.
5. PBS Kids

PBS Kids focuses on students learning about social studies, engineering, teamwork, and
other topics. This website is unique in its own way by entertaining students with games
about engineering. For students who like to build objects the engineering games would
give them good practice, maybe even influence them in having a career in engineering.

6. Fun Brain

This website focuses mainly on math and reading development for students. They also
have activities for the playground too. The games on this website relate to regular games
that students play outside of school. Like math basketball, tic tac toe squares, and
connect the dots. By combing popular games and learning objectives, in a classroom
students could be more interested in learning because it would consist of fun.
7. Sheppard Software Preschool

Sheppard Software focuses on the topics of USA, world, animals, vocabulary, health,
science, math, and preschool. In my classroom working with students with Autism, I
would start them off with the preschool section.
8. Autism Games

This site caters to children with autism, and parents to help their children learn. The
author of the website is also a speech pathologist which directly deals with people with
disabilities. In my classroom I would search through the learning objectives and correlate
them with the common core and make lesson plans based off of those.
9. Zac Browser

This website fully focuses on students with autism and disorders in the autism spectrum.
They also have videos and social network sites that can help parents and educators with
students who have autism. Also it is a way for people to share their experiences and
opinions to share with everyone, can be inspiring.
10. Autism Games

These games focus on children with autism to learn how to develop independent living
skills. They also want educators and families to give their opinions so they can help
create more interactive games, which focus on their development.
