The equipment number is given by the formula

1)

H = effective height in m from the summer load waterline to the top of the uppermost deck
measured as follows:
H = a + hi
Therefore
a = distance in m from summer load waterline am
hi = height in m on the centre line of each tier of

A = area in m2 in profile view of the hull, superstructures and houses above the summer lo
