PROFILE
I am a dynamic, result oriented and creative professional. Currently enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy for
Learning Design and Technology Program at Purdue University, and working as an Instructional Designer
in Purdues IMPACT Program, I have two prior Masters: one in Learning Design and Technology (Summa
Cum Laude) from Purdue University and the other in English Literature and Language (Summa Cum
laude) from India. My professional accomplishments include 14+ years of experience in distance and face to
face education that involves extensive instructional designing, and 10+ years in high level administration
and management.

Worked in a high profile administrative position as an Additional Commissioner in the IAS/IRS


(Indian Administrative/Revenue Service). Duties involved training new incumbents to the
department.

Being recruited for this position is in itself a major accomplishment. Selection is done by an
extremely challenging and rigorous, three step, nationwide, examination process. Approximately,
out of 170,000 only about 800 (less than 0 .5%) are selected.

Managed an office with about 75+ personnel reporting directly or indirectly to me

Reported directly and indirectly to the Indian Finance Minister and members of the Central Board
of Direct Taxes (CBDT)

Handled high profile assesees (businesses with tax related issues) like Air France, Godfrey Philips,
HDFC Bank etc. Trained IRS personnel related to such operations.
