Dates to Remember
S.T.A.R Club meets every Tuesday
at morning recess!
Every Friday:-Pizza Day!
Picture Day Retakes- April 8th
April 23rd- Scholastic Book Fair
(orders due by April 13th)

Fundraising
The school will be fundraising using
pizza kits, from Little Caesars Pizza.
Forms will be set out next week. The
money raised will go towards new
gym equipment!

Lunch Hour: Volleyball


During the month of May, students in
grades 6-8 can participate in
recreation volleyball in the gym!

Homework:
At the beginning of each week,
students are assignment homework
sheets, in their homework books,
which are to be completed and
submitted at the end of that same
week.
Record will be kept throughout the
year of students homework
completion.

April Birthdays!

S.T.A.R. (Students Standing Against Racism) Club will be


running a workshop for the first half of the day, on April 27th.
The workshops will be a series of cooperative learning
another. Students will be assigned a group, with other students
ranging from grades 1-6. For one of the activities, students are
asked to bring in a special item to share. This can be an item of
personal important or it can also be a special memory to share,
please remember, this is optional and students have the choice
to pass on sharing.

Character Education
This months character education focuses on Honesty, being
truthful and sincere. As always, parents are welcome to attended
the Character Education/ Monthly Assembly which will take
place this Friday, April 3rd from 10:30-11:30a.m. in the gym."
