On August 28th of 1963, Martin Luther King Jr.

addressed his I have the dream Speech

at the march on Washington. The speech was broadcasted throughout America showing that
Martin Luther King Jr.s dream could and will become a reality. Martin Luther King Jr.s speech
impacted the world making society a more Judge-free world. His speech was made to help
give African Americans equality in America, but his speech also helped the world become a
better place and helped people (like me) have their own dream and make the dream become a
reality.

In Martin Luther King Jr.s I Have a Dream speech, he says There will be neither rest
nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. In this statement,
Martin Luther King Jr. shows that he will not stop nor give up until his dream or goal is
accomplished so African Americans will get the same rights that whites do. The last statement
Martin Luther King Jr. states in his speech is And when this happens, when we allow freedom to
ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we
will be able to speed up that day when all of Gods children, black men and white men, Jews and
Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old
Negro Spiritual, Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last! This
statement shows that Martin Luther King Jr.s dream wasnt just to benefit himself, but for the
world to see African Americans as equals instead of second-class citizens. The statements from
his speech shows that Martin Luther King Jr. would not give up to have him and his follows to
get the rights they thrived for.

When Martin Luther King Jr. announced his speech, society was unfair and society
treated African Americans differently and poorly making whites the primary race in America.
Later, after his I have a dream speech, society was able to accept African Americans and other
races as citizens and allowed them to have the same rights as whites. Now, society is very against
African American segregation and discrimination all across the United States and across the
world.

Martin Luther King Jr.s I have a dream speech inspired me to have a dream of world
peace and equality. My dream relates to Martin Luther King Jr.s speech because both of our
dreams involve equality and piece across the world through all races and genders. Not to
mention, Martin Luther King Jr. and Is way to making our dreams a reality is by peaceful
speeches and protests. Plus, will both wont give up on our dreams until our dreams become a
reality.

Martin Luther King Jr impacted the world by with is I have a dream speech. He
showed that he would never give up for African Americans to have the same rights as African
Americans. Martin Luther King Jr.s speech also changed society by helping get rid of
segregation and discrimination. Finally, Martin Luther King Jr.s speech inspired me to have a
dream to make world peace a reality. In conclusion, Martin Luther King Jr. inspired people when
he was alive and will continuing inspiring people in the future.
