Description
Function: Cache Valley for Hope charity dinner at Elements.
Description: We will be throwing a Thanksgiving charity dinner to raise money for Cache Valley for Hope,
which is an organization which helps support families who are going through cancer.
Target market: We will be focusing on businesses so they can contribute to the community and get
some advertising out there for helping those with needs. We also plan on inviting individuals who
previously have been affected by cancer so they can contribute back to those in need. Anyone who
wants to participate is welcome to come.
Time: November 21, 2013 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Layout: At the front of the room there will be a stage for performances and a screen above the stage to
show a short film from the foundation, people will be donating to, Cache Valley for Hope. There will be
seven tables with five seats per table in the room to seat the audience.
Entertainment: There will be a short movie from Cache Valley for Hope to let the audience learn more
about the organization they are donating to, and a speaker to explain their mission statement. So that
everyone can enjoy their dinner we will be having Logan Out Loud, a comedic group, come and perform
while people eat.
Decorations: There will be nice white china, and white table cloths. Napkins will be alternating colors
between red and orange folded into triangles and silverware will be neatly laid out besides the plates.
There will be two cups, one for water and other their drink of choice. We will have a table set up to
display information from Cache Valley for Hope.
It will be plated service: We will have servers bring the food out to the consumers already plated. They
will not be covered.
Plate Presentation: There will be a side bowl for soup, side plate for salad, and the main plate will be laid
out as picture below you will have your meat and sides.

Procedure
Preheat oven to 450 F
Scrub potatoes and cut
into medallions.
Arrange on baking
sheet so they are flat.
Cover sweet potatoes
with olive oil.
Cover sweet potatoes
with butter.
Bake for 18-22
minutes.

Procedure
Cook bacon until crisp
in frying pan. Crumble
bacon. Drain fat.
Cook chopped onion in
frying pan with bacon
grease.
Cover potatoes with
water and boil until
fork tender drain
water.
Add to potatoes. Add
onion to potatoes and
crumbled potatoes.
Add milk to soup. Cook
to 150 F.
Add salt tt.
Add pepper tt.

Rub butter onto turkey.
