Pavement Condition Index | City of Olathe

Pavement Condition Index


All City-maintained streets are inspected every 3 years to collect pavement condition data. The City uses this information to establish the Pavement
Condition Index (PCI) for City streets. The PCI was developed by the United States Army Corps of Engineers, and it is commonly used in transportation civil
engineering.
The Pavement Condition Index (PCI) is an objective numeric measurement of the pavement's condition
