In todays world leaders are hard to find. When you find the right leader that makes you
feel like you are a part of something important than you will realize the difference between a
want to be leader and a leader. One leader that I do believe was amazing and had more than
thousand people was martin Luther king. The meaning of leadership is a strong word that many
cant fill even how hard they tried. People can try to be a leader and they might look like they

have succeed in some departments but most people dont know how to fully be a leader. Most
people who want to be a leader can't because people dont become leader people are born a
leader. Taking you back to old times when there was a person who stood up for many people
because he wanted to make a difference in the world and wanted to make sure people were
happy. This person was not like any normal person he had to live in a world of discrimination
and hate against each other. Around 1960 many people hated each other because of their color
and mostly because they where black people. They treated black people like they were from
another world. They would make them sit, eat and drink in a different place from the white
people, until one of many people who stood up for what he believed was right and make sure he
and everyone else who was black be free from racism. Thats what Martin Luther king Jr was he
was a leader that many people looked up to and made sure they followed him every where he
went. Before he was a civil right leader he was a normal person who also did some mistakes
when he was younger like skipping some grades and also trying to commit suicide when he was
around 12 years old. People cant imagine the suffering and horrible life style that many black
people had to struggle through to be in the place and position that they are now. Just like martin
Luther King Jr he struggles to get where he was but he took the right turn and he succeed and
became the person he was, a great minister and leader. Before he became a minister he actually
got his degree from Morehouse College and attended the liberal Croxer theological seminary in
Chester, Pennsylvania. Listening to him was a blessing to some black people and also a way to
have faith that things would change in a world so cruel and with injustices. Martin Luther king
Jr. was a Baptist minister and a social activist one of the person who led the civil rights
movement in the United States. He was also a leader for the boycott and the Rosa Park case.
Martin Luther king Jr philosophies of leadership, creative leadership, and followership was
incredible and it felt like it came from his heart, how much he cared about black people and ways
he could free them from slavery. To be like martin Luther King Jr. you need to have courage and
the ability to be a great leader and I am showing you some steps on how to be a leader by
learning a his philosophies of leadership, creative leadership and followership.
He was a mentor to many people and he protested for many years to have white people
and black people in the same buss without any racism and giving up their seat for any one
because of their skin color. I consider him one of the best leaders out their in the world because
he has these philosophies of leadership that many people do not have and many have to practice
it to even get close to his leadership skills. Many people say that philosophies of leadership are
3P that represent passion, purpose and people. Which martin Luther king had he had the people
by his side because he knew his goals in life and the passion was incredible because nobody had
more passion then him. The last one was purpose the purpose of the speeches he kept reading out
loud where because he wanted them for everyone to hear his thoughts and opinion. But to be a
leader like him you would need to learn more philosophies than people, purpose and passion.
You would need to learn several philosophies that has helped martin Luther king Jr and other
leaders like him. I can describe martin Luther king Jr in several words that people can understand
what he was to many people in the late 1900. Martin Luther king always had integrity and if
most people dont know what it means its a person who say what they are thinking about and
what they mean from the bottom of their heart. He was the person who would practice what he
preached and make sure that he was heard every way. The good thing about people that have
integrity is that they have the ability to be trusted and to be told every little secret.

Leadership to many people can be hard to describe because many cant imagine
something they havent been or even tried to be. This is what most people experience when they
try to become a leader in a group they usually fail because of many situations some people are
born with leadership skill that help them become better at leading and directing people through
any hard situation that could happen in the follower life. What people also havent learn that
leadership can be studied but if you dont have the potential of becoming a leader than you wont
succeed on it. Some of the questions that a person who is trying to be a leader does always put
some one else first no mater what the problem is and also would not even think about it. A leader
to me is a person that cares and stands out for many people does not think about their lives but
about others who are in danger. Leaders can sometimes be confused with managers because they
like to lead a group and most people take it as managing them those who are also leaders do not
like to be lead by other but themselves. Thats why when you read information about martin
Luther king you would know that a leader should always take advice from others and make sure
they learn from his followers and expand the learning towards more learning in the feature. Like
I said in the first paragraph you are born a leader you just learn as you grow like when you are in
a play group and all the sudden you take charge of any games that kids play and they look up to
you because maybe the next day you will come out with a different game.
The way a leader is born or now his success is mostly by the way they act and how other
people respond. If a leader has follower like martin Luther king that his followers would follow
him even when they were arrested in many situations for not leaving certain places that black
people were not accepted. He stood there and said what he wanted to say but had to serve his
time for breaking the law and must leaders have to sometimes break the law to get the attention
they want to get. But just like martin Luther king Jr you would have to set an example of what
type of person you really are. Do you want people to sit next to you and protest for what you
think is right or would you rather have no one by your side and let some one else do protesting
instead of you doing it? Thats why most leaders have followers that encourage the leaders to be
better at leading and the leaders know that they also have someone to have their backs. When
you have a team you would need to understand that the team would follow you every step of the
way so you would need to make sure you pick the right team. Being a leader of a team might be
difficult if you have to lead several people because you have to think about more than yourself
like martin Luther king Jr. He though about black people and the way they were struggling to get
respect and treated equally he also though about his family how they were going through the
same struggles. If you have the power to lead a team almost the size of half of the city than you
have the ability to lead the United States just like Obama a leader that leads the whole country.
Most leaders can influence others through personality and through their actions. The ways
leaders bring people are by trusting them in a certain way that they would let them in their lives.
Many people who follow leaders like to be near a leader because motivation and the way they
make them feel. If I had Martin Luther king Jr motivating my every step of the way when all the
civil rights movements was happening I would be another person out of hundredths that would
fallow him until the day of his death. By him inspiring the passion in his words it showed
courage and the ability to draw me in his world of trust. His speech maid people believe more on
themselves and the ability to know that one day things would be alright and that he would be
here for then when they are in danger. When a team feels secure they would have the ability to
feel stronger and happier on what they are doing. Leaders are people who like to support other
people actions if they are doing something right. A good leader would always pick the right team

and make sure their team. When you are a leader you have to be careful who your team is
because you want that team to help you out in any way when they are in your team.
Who necessarily is a leader in our world and how can you determine how he is the right
leader for you. Most people would say that their parents are their leaders because of all the things
they have done for them and the way they would give their lives for them so its interesting who
could be a leader in a persons life. So my definition of a leader is a person who tries their best at
doing what ever they can to work on any bodies situations. I like leader that fallows the rules and
show to other people to be a leader they dont have to do things that have to do with breaking the
rules. When a leader that show that he can make things possible without breaking the rules would
make you also think if they will only do it because they arent breaking the rules. Its could be
good and bad because many leaders love to take risk and be spontaneous in many ways. Mostly
to show the followers that they can do almost anything they want and make it look good.
In todays world there are creative leaders and some that are remember everyday for
being creative and also for being the type of person that always stands out. He is one of the main
people who fought for civil rights, equality, and possibility. To be a creative leader like him it
takes courage and the ability to do it, which can be hard to do. For a person to be a leader in a
company also can be difficult because of the amount of people. Like a say a great leader is not
really a person that is brave is a person that is knowledgeable and know what they want to do in
life. When leaders are knowledgeable they can make decision better than other people who are
not. They also tempt to be faster in many things that would solve a problem. But to be a creative
leader you have to show what you really have to offer in the group. Leaders would come out with
some serious stuff that would have to do with different ways to make things happen or get people
out of trouble. When you are a good leader some times you would a group that you would need
to show them new things that you might have to be a little creative when you are working with
them which can be difficult at times but as a leader you would have to set them straight on you
value for the team. Defining the value as a leader would be the best way to approach your team.
By defining the values between good and bad or right from wrong. When you have a team you
have plenty of people with different talents that are helpful in a group. The good thing about
having all these people with talent makes a great team. The most important is to maintaining
values because they can get eroded, or worse, or left unattended. Leaders like this are people
who know how to make decisions quickly. Leaders should always maintain their trust with the
leaders and make sure they are there all the step of the way. As a leader sometimes you will have
people who will test who you really are as a leader and how far you will go prove them wrong.
Thats why a leader should always make sure they have the right information and resources for
everything the do that includes many people. One major thing that a leader should always ask the
followers is what bothers them and whats one ting that might offend them in any situation.
Because what might not offend you might offend others that are not use to. Its always good to
respect others opinion even though you might not care about it or respect it at all.

As a leader sometimes it might be hard to communicate with people that dont share
some of the similar areas that you do but they can definitely learn from you and because mostly a
mini of you. When you are a leader you have to pretty much think of your self as a teacher that is
teaching a kids the ABC and they have to start from the beginning not from the middle so it can
be hard for some of to be like you if they never been taught or introduce into your world. When

you have followers you have to be able to work with them at all times and make sure that you are
able to understand what their goals towards the team are and what they expect from you. One
way you can communicate with your team a lot better is when you stay by their side when they
have a hard moment or when you work as a group. When leaders have a one on one moment
with the followers they tempt to have a better communication and ability to manage their teams
better just because they have ability to know them better. Leaders should always have a plan
when they have followers and make sure they have proactive event planning. Some leaders must
know that technology is one of the main issues for some leaders because many of them are stuck
in their own ways that should sometimes be left behind and learn knew things that would help
you be a better leader. Ways that you can use the technology is by organizing functions and
showing it to your group. Technology will help you research and learn things that you never
have. It helps with getting things done faster and in a better way. The reason I say it helps get
things done faster is because they dont have to it themselves for example if it werent for
emailing we would have to drive the information to another state, which can take a long time,
and it can be stressful.
Follower is mostly people who dont like to make too many decisions for themselves and
would like another person to decide things for them. Followers like to feel like they have some
one that would take care of them and make them feel good about themselves. Most of the
followers that fallow people is because of their believes and actions thats why its so important
for a leader to be there for their followers. Many people in this world are not good at being
leaders and some are just happy at doing a great job so thats when they become a follower.
When you follow a leader you have to understand what the leader is trying to inform you as a
person that they are leading and helping in some sort of way especially if they are trying to help
you with several things. When you follow a leader you should always make sure that you follow
every decision that they might have and might be a little different from your own. Leaders need
to always support their boss and make sure they have a back up on everything. Never blame the
boss for their poor decision but followers should always make sure they help them make a better
decision. Followers should always understand that they should not have any argument or miss
understandings with the leaders in front of people but behind close doors. As a leader some times
you might feel like you need to speak your mind when you have some ideas but you could
always consider telling you leader your ideas before you say it to other people. Followers should
always respect their leaders at all times and make sure they follow every responsibility that they
offer. Some might be intense and not what you would want to do but it might be a good idea to
try it before you denied it. Followers should always tell the truth to their leaders even if it might
be unpleasant. The best part of being a follower is that you would get to always gather all the
information for the leader to make the best decision. When a follower has ideas they should
always make sure that the ideas do not offend other people in the group. The followers should
always make sure that they are happy with themselves before they go to a group. The good thing
about have followers that is happy in their home they seem to be happier at work also and in
what ever group they are in. Being a follower takes courage and work to make sure that you
follow a good leader.
Their might be good leaders any where you go and they might be the inspiration to that
person who is alone and might help someone in their life which would help them grow and be
successful in life. The one and only is Martin Luther king Jr is the only to me that has been a

great leader to most people. He has helped us accomplished so much in life and most people like
my self. Looking at the all the movies that talks about slavery and how they were treated so
horribly it break my heart. He is a leader that defended many to be free from any racism and
other things. Thanks to him we had civil right movement. He is the inspiration of many that had
to go through hard times. The good thing about tis leader is that he made sure he was there for
every that had to do with fighting against racism. Many people who followed him got arrested
many times for following his believes. Martin Luther King Jr and his followers were in jail for
years but always made a point for everything they did. Thanks to them they made people realize
that every person especially black people should always been given a chance.
Leadership is a hard process if the person is not born with the talent of success and
becoming a great success on being that great leader for the followers. Leader should take the
word leadership seriously and never put it to shame. Leadership should never be taken as a joke
like a person should have followers to just feel save but also to help those feel safe also.
Followers should always feel safe with their leaders and make sure they follow them in every
step of the way but make sure they are happy doing it. Leadership can be difficult with ne people
because you would have to teach that person what to do from the start. As a leader should always
make sure that you the time and patients to teach the people all you know in a better way and
help them understand everything step by step. Followers should always make sure that they are
doing their research and make sure they are the right leader for you. When you chose a leader
you can look at theyre back grown and make sure they are the right leader for you. When a
follower is picking a leader they make sure they have the connection and stability that they are
looking for in a leader. Finding the right leader is hard because some people believe that leading
people is all about management and bossing people around and it does not have to do anything
with it, its all about having a person that would have your back without wanting some thing in
return. Managers would always tell a person what they want to hear not what they should be
actually telling them that come from their heart, which is sad. Finding a leader is hard but if you
follow these instructions and make sure you do your research you should be fine and you will
find the right person for you.
