Informatica Metadata Manager Installation:

Prerequisites:

1. 10250 port should be available in Infa server

2. Repository service and IS should be available. (We can use existing repository
service), but best practice is to have new repository service as it creates
mappings and other stuff.
3. One empty database schema and oracle user. This user should have create
access on schema.
4. Metadata manager license

Metadata Manager Setup:

Login to admin console

When you do not have any content for power center repository then you need to
check the above box.
Click ok, it takes more time as it creates folder in Informatica power center
repository and other content.

MM agent needs to be installed. Useful to load resources.
Login to Informatica Powercenter:
Metadata manager creates powercenter mappings, sessions and workflows for data
processing. All these will be in folder: Metadata Load
