Writing and Conferencing

Classroom rules and expectations (3 minutes):

Plan today is to give everyone time to write stories and conference with me.
I will play music and students are welcome to talk quietly about ideas or get feedback
from peers. If they want to meet with me they need to add name to board. I will also be
circulating.
If music/talking is being abused and no work is being done we will all work completely
independently and in silence.
I need you to help each other. Some want to do well and get feedback. In order for me to
conference with students, I trust you will make good choices that will allow me and your
peers this opportunity.
