Anabolic Steriods

By Jarel Anderson

What steroids are

Anabolic steroids are closely related to the

cyclic steroid ring system and have similar
effects as testosterone to the body. They
expand protein inside cells, particularly in
skeletal muscles.

Origin of Steroids
Anabolic steroids were first made in the 1930s, and are
currently utilized remedially as a part of prescription to
increase muscle development and appetite, spark male
adolescence and treat chronic squandering conditions, for
example, disease and AIDS. The American College of
Sports Medicine recognizes that AAS, in the vicinity of
sufficient eating regimen, can add to increments in body
weight, frequently as lean mass increments and that the
increases in solid quality attained to through high-force
activity and fitting eating regimen can be moreover
expanded by the utilization of AAS in some individuals.

Anabolic steroids are commonly used in

high competition events such as, Weight
lifting, body building, football, baseball,
and other sports that include having
high levels of testosterone and begin a
bigger sized athlete. Although there are
plenty of medical uses for anabolic
steroids such as, some hormone
problems in men, delayed puberty, and
muscle loss from some diseases.

Using anabolic steroids in any other way other

than for medical purposes is not legal or safe.
Abuse of this drug can be connected to many
problems in health such as. Acne, Breast
growth and shrinking of testicles in men, Voice
deepening and growth of facial hair in women,
High blood pressure, Heart problems, including
heart attack, Liver disease, including cancer,
Kidney damage, and Aggressive behavior also
known as Roid rage.

Anabolic steroids are used in many different

ways. Some steroid abusers pop pills. Others
utilize hypodermic needles to infuse steroids
specifically into muscles. At the point when
users take more of a drug again and again,
they are called "abusers." Abusers have
been known to take measurements 10 to 100
times higher than the dosage recommended
for medicinal reasons by a doctor. By the
utilization of AAS in a few people.

Bigger Faster Stronger

The process of taking 2 or more kinds of steroids at once is
called stacking , This kind of steroid taking method is
supposed to get users bigger and much faster than the
original way of abusing the drug which was just taking it dose
by dose.

Cycles
Some abusers pyramid their doses in 6-12-week
cycles. At the beginning of the cycle, the steroid
user starts with low doses and slowly increases to
higher doses. In the second half of the cycle, they
gradually decrease the amount of steroids.
Neither of these methods has been proven to
work.

How Steroids affect the

body
Steroid use can also be fatal to the human body. When
steroids get into the body, they go to different organs
and muscles. Steroids affect individual cells and make
them create proteins. These proteins spell trouble.
The liver, for example can grow tumors and develop
cancer. Steroid abusers may also develop a rare
condition called peliosis hepatis in which blood filled
cyst crop up on the live. Both tumors and cyst can
rupture and cause internal bleeding.

Continued:
Steroids are no companion to the heart, either. Mishandling steroids
can result in heart attacks and strokes, even in youthful competitors.
Here's the way: Steroid utilization can prompt a condition called
atherosclerosis, which causes fat stored inside arteries to disturb blood
stream. At the point when blood stream to the heart is hindered, a heart
attack can happen. In the event that blood flow to the brain is
hindered, a stroke can happen.

How steroids affect the mind

Steroids can also mess with your head. Homicidal rage can come
from how steroids act on the brain. Thats right Non-violent
people have been known to commit murder under the influence of
these synthetic hormones. Your moods and emotions are balanced
by the limbic system of your brain. Steroids can act on the limbic
system and may cause irritability and mild depression. Eventually,
steroids can cause mania, delusion, and violent aggression or
roid rage.

Steroids in teens

Steroid use in the younger generation is starting to

increase as well. Steroid use among teens has seen a
slight increase in the last few years. In 2010, 2% of high
school seniors admitted to trying steroids. However, 2.1%
percent had experimented with them in 2013.

Continue:

This is bad because steroids can cause hormone

imbalances as well. For teens, hormone balance is
important. Hormones are involved in the
development of a girl's feminine traits and a boy's
masculine traits. When someone abuses steroids,
gender mix-ups happen.

Growth in teens

Steroids can also effect growth in teens. Teens who

abuse steroids before the typical adolescent growth
spurt risk staying short and never reaching their full
adult height. Why? Because the body is programmed
to stop growing after puberty. When hormone levels
reach a certain point, the body thinks it's already gone
through puberty. So, bones get the message to stop
growing way too soon.

Official Definition

Steroids: are strong medicines, and they

can have side effects, including
weakened bones and cataracts. Because
of this, you usually take them for as short
a time as possible.
