Dear Parents and Applicant,

We are so excited to have you in our program this year. This is our
second year doing this this program here in Southern California,
we are praying to be able this will continue for years to come!
TBA started in Northern California as a three week program
designed to help teenagers draw closer to God. Norwalk Teen
Bible Academy is following this example.
Here is the breakdown:
Solitude: We will backpack and camp by Bridge to Nowhere. This
is time where the kids will have a chance to really connect with
God. As leaders we will be overseeing their time and teaching the
kids how to break away from the noise of the everyday world. We
will spend time reading our Bibles, praying, journaling and doing
group activities. This time is designed to help us grow in our walk
with Christ and build a support system with each other while also
creating great friendships!
Study: After spending 4 days outdoors we will travel back to the
Norwalk Seventh-day Adventist Church where we will spend one
night and repack our things for the rest of the trip. We will leave
for Camp Cedar Falls on July 17th. Where we will begin our next
step in our program Study. During this time we will be having
in-depth Bible Studies to prepare us for the up-coming outreach.
We will also be doing many outdoor activities and group games.
Service: Now we will be ready to serve others! We will be going to
Chinle SDA Church in Arizona where we will be working with
underprivileged families by teaching cooking and health classes
as well as some service projects they are in need of. We will also
be going Door to Door giving out GLOW tracks and praying with
the people of this very poor area.
