The newsletter from the SHS Library provides information about new resources and services available. An intern named Shaina Ray is joining the staff this semester. The library staff created a new collaboration form to document how they work with teachers to meet literacy standards when classes visit. African American book carts have been created and circulate for a week at a time. The Principal's Reading Honor Roll participants have read over 750 books so far this year.

Digital Library on American Slavery New Intern
T his site was mentioned in the latest issue
of School Library Journal. The site provides access to information gathered and Shaina Ray is interning this semester in the media center. Feel free to schedule a research lesson with her. She can also conduct an analyzed over an eighteen-year period from inservice for faculty members. African American Book Carts
Using the Media Center Staff members - Remember W e pulled books from Black History Month and created three carts. Each cart circulates for one week. If you are to sign up ahead of time with us if you want to use ANY interested in checking out a cart, please contact part of the library for ANY Irene Tighe. reason.
