COACHING PLAN FOR MRS.

ANNAMARIE MATHEW

MRS. ANNAMARIE MATHEW


Mrs. Mathew is a kindergarten teacher
at Kelsey Elementary School. She has a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Child
Development and credential from a
state university. She also has a Masters
of Arts degree in Curriculum and
Instruction. She has a passion for
teaching.

She has a love for children and has a


well-deserved reputation as an
excellent teacher. She believes that her
challenge is to be sure that the
academic demands of district
curriculum and state standards are
being met by her students in a
developmental way.

CREATING AWARNESS
Mrs. Mathew must determine her strengths and areas of weakness to improve
for upcoming kindergarten students.

Mrs. Mathew must conduct self-assessments of her to see what is working for
her and the students and see what areas need improvement.

Mrs. Mathew must acknowledge what areas need more focusing on when it
comes to students obtaining information.

Mrs. Mathew must provide feedback to parents and students on progress


being made in the classroom.

REALISTIC GOALS AND OBJECTIVES


Establish a way to design learning that includes modification to meet the
needs of diverse learners.

Create a classroom culture that is safe, caring and intellectual stimulating.

Make sure to demonstrates knowledge of the subject matter and utilize


appropriate resources.

Communicate with students and parents daily, weekly and monthly

Mrs. Mathew will structure all lesson plans that will focus hands on learning
through play. (Provide group activities and learning)

Make sure learning centers are set up appropriately with all materials needed.
Making sure center are not over crowded with students.
Keeping track of students process in the class.

Utilizing Appropriate
Assessments

Talking with students and parents to see what needs improvement and discuss areas
of growth in the class.
Conducting assessments through observation .

** Students tend to do well with assessments when they dont know they are being
assessed.

MONITORING PROGRESS
Meet with mentor/coach and principal for weekly or monthly observation.

Conduct weekly or daily assessments with students.

Have parents to complete teacher surveys.

Document daily performance.

Complete self assessment.

CLOSURE
After Mrs. Mathews action plan is in progress. She will have all students
knowledgeable of her #1 rule We treat each other with respect and kindness. All
kindergarten students will become fond with learning through play teaching styles.

The goal of Mrs. Mathew is to make sure all students are successful with standards
and objectives being met. Mrs. Mathew will make sure she is able to reach out to all
students making sure each individual is learning in a developmental appropriate way.
