College Athlete Payment
Should college football players be paid? This was the question T had originally chosen
for my extended inquiry project. After doing some research, I quickly discovered that the
majority of the information was related to the payment of college athletes in general. At this
time, I decided to change my question so that it applied to the universal payment of college
athletes. Should college athletes be paid? 1 felt as if this would aid me in discovering an answer
to my question. I got the idea for this topic from a group in my UWRT-1101 class. One reason I
found this topic to be interesting is that I had never considered how much money some college
athletes bring into the university they attend. After conducting some research, I realized that
there are many variables that play a role in paying college athletes. One thing to keep in mind is
that not only the star players can be paid. Another thing to keep in mind is that not only one
sport can be paid. It is not as simple as just giving each athlete a paycheck.
