Rationale/Reflection NAEYC Standard: Building Family and Community Relationships: 2a: Knowing about and understanding diverse family and community characteristics.
Brief Description of Evidence: (include semester completed) For
my artifact, I selected my Annotated Book List for my ECED 130 Development Appropriate Guidance during the Spring of 2015.
Analysis of What I Learned: I learned a lot about this with this
assignment and talking about diverse families, disabilities, etc. In my eyes, it is important for the student to know about different cultures, religions, disabilities, and different things like that so when they are faced with that situation in the future, they know about it.
How This Artifact Demonstrates my Competence on the
InTASC/NAEYC Standard: Standard two is building family and community relationships, knowing about and understanding diverse family and community characteristics. That is what the annotated book list is about. It shows different books that teachers can bring into the classroom to help with teaching students about these different ideas.
