In this unit, the students will learn about different aspects of


Louisiana including those that helped shape its environment,
culture and history. The topics covered include activities in
the following subject areas: History, Science and Art. At the
end of each lesson, the students will be able to apply the
skills they have learned to future activities.

Students will need extra time for all activities and will also
