A sexually transmitted disease is an infection that is passed from


one person to another person by having sex.

These infections you can get from having sex with someone who
has the infection.

The causes of the infections are bacteria, parasites, and viruses.

So in other words,

There are more than 25 identified sexually transmitted diseases.

The most common sexually transmitted diseases are:

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)

Gonorrhea

Chlamydia

Herpes

Bacterial Vaginosis (BV)

Trichomoniasis

Syphilis

Human Papillomavirus (HPV)

Fluid draining form your penis or vagina
