Dear Griots Eye Recruiter:

I am writing in response to The Griots Eye advertisement for a Media Instructor, as listed
on the email forwarded to me by Professor Janice Short of Morgan State University. I am
currently a returning Sophomore at Morgan State University majoring in Music with a
concentration in Piano Performance. As you will see on my enclosed resume, I have a
wide range of experience that may be a great fit at The Griots Eye.

I own and operate JamNova, LCC, a start-up production, education, and entertainment
company located in Baltimore, MD. We offer music production and engineering,
photography, videography, music lessons, and music production and engineering lessons.
Though I have never taught photography, I do believe that I possess skills necessary to
thoroughly pass on the art of photography. I also understand the condition of our
communitys youth and would love to be a part of the change. The only way to affect the
future is to affect the present.

I hope for the opportunity to learn more about this position, and to discuss my
