WHAT TO WEAR AND WHAT NOT
Strapless or off-the shoulder necklines are perfect for an
hourglass shape. X body types can also flatter the neckline
with ruffles or open collars.
Pencil skirts are the ones to go for; they will cling to your
figure coming right in at your waist to show off your curves.
A-lines are another king of skirts ideal for hourglasses as
long as they are fitted around the waist.
Fitted dresses, trousers in drapy fabrics, slim skirts and
heeled shoes with rounded or peep toes will have you looking
great from day to night.

WHAT TO WEAR AND WHAT NOT
Accentuate the defined waist lines with belts, ties,
wrap dresses and detailed empire waistlines is the
better way to show your curves.

Clean lined jackets and coats which are well cut and
fitted are perfect for these bodies.
Stay away from heavily beaded or over embellished
dresses, they tend to make you appear heavier than
you actually are and can leave you looking unbalanced.

print patterns, a feminine aura, and
softness.
Romantic personalities can range from
Vintage Hollywood to Victorian to
Glamourous to Sophisticated.
Ruffles, lace, pleats, those are just a few of
the whimsy that this personality type most
like. I also like to wear soft colors and
often I choose fabrics like chiffon and silk
that drape graciously on my body.

CLASSIC
Prefer timeless looks, beautiful, but simple cuts in
clothing.
Traditional outfits are important for me. For
example, the little black dress.
Clean and straight lines dominate my closet. I also
favor garments with soft draping as well as tops,
jackets and dresses with a nipped waist.
Neutral colors, especially black, white, beige, and
frequently navy. Sometimes I tend to prefer solid
colors, rather than prints.
Most of my dresses and skirts fall to the knee.
