GIS TECHNICIAN

The Village of Bartlett located in Cook, DuPage and Kane counties is seeking
applicants for our GIS Technician position.
The position, under the direction of the Community Development Director, is
responsible for collecting field data using mobile apps and GPS, updating the
municipal GIS database, gathering records, data and information, providing spatial
information, maps and reports, and performing quality control of data; and
performing various related technical duties.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of GIS experience, proficiency with
ArcGIS for Desktop software, and knowledge of database development and
maintenance. Candidates must possess an equivalent to a Bachelors degree with
major coursework in GIS, geography, urban planning, environmental science,
computer science or closely related field.
