Human Options: Saving Womens Lives Day by Day

Subject: Human Options non-profit saves women from abuse
Kelly Callor, a well renowned artist and sculptor has revealed to the public that she
in fact has been undergoing domestic abuse and violence for the past 10 years. Like
Callor, more than 1 million women deal with domestic abuse or violence every day,
which can lead to suicide, psychiatric damage and PTSD.
There is hope for the millions of women dealing with domestic abuse daily, due to
the non-profit organization, Human Options. Human Options is located in Orange
County, California, and has seen over 500 thousand women for help and treatment.
The Human Options program features a womans shelter, counselors, and
psychiatrists.
Although Human Options is only located in Orange County, the organization as a
whole invites all women that are in desperate need, or even fear, to come for help.
There is a crisis hotline that has served to over 100 thousand women, and always
has a positive outcome.
We would be ecstatic to set up a time for you to speak to anyone on the Human
Options team for further information. All of our team members are located in
California, Orange County in particular. I also have a media kit for you to use.

Human Options Annual Fall Luncheon Raises Awareness about Domestic

Violence and Encourages Victims to Speak Out
Costa Mesa, Calif. (October 20, 2015) On October 15, Human Options held their annual Fall
Luncheon which serves as an educational event to help inform women, children and extended
family members about domestic violence.
Human Options began as a hotline for women who were amidst a crisis situation, and has
rapidly expanded into a countywide program that offers womens shelters and acts as a safe
haven where victims of domestic abuse can come forward and break their silence. For decades,
they have been seeking to educate communities and help break the cycle of domestic abuse.
To help them, each year, Human Options features a well-respected guest speaker at the Fall
Luncheon who offers their expertise on advising individuals who suffer from the brutality of
domestic abuse.
This year, the Fall Luncheon was held in no less a fashion than it ever is. Usually making a net
of approximately $250,000, the luncheon housed hundreds of attendees who were all anxious to
increase the quality of life for themselves as well as their families.
Over the years Human Options has helped thousands of individuals in need of assistance in
coping with the harsh realities of abuse and does so through the use of their successful
prevention programs. Human Options undoubtedly inspires women and children to voice
themselves and gives them hope for an abuse free future.

Media Pitch
Subject: Southern California Non-Profit Organization Human Options sees new
patients for domestic violence and abuse, and diminishing the girls problems at
home.
Kelsey Clark thought that her life was going to be ruined forever not because
what shes done, but how she is being treated at home. Kelsey has been apart of
domestic violence her whole marriage, and never thought it was going to end.
Human Options changed that, by shrinking her domestic abuse problems at
home and getting her back on her feet in life.
Honestly, I thought my life was going to be wasted, Clark said. My husband
treated me like I meant nothing to him, and this made me give up more and more
each day. It was heartbreaking to think about how I was being abused by him,
because one day he truly wasnt like that. Now, everything has changed, for the
better.
Clark called the crisis hotline for domestic abuse, posted on the Human Options
website. It didnt stop there, the hotline gave Clark the courage to go the
organization in Orange County and speak to professionals. Counselors,
psychiatric doctors, and the Chief Executive Officer, Vivian Clecak, greeted her.
Soon enough, all these aids for Clark assisted her getting her life back on track
and being happy.
Human Options is a non-profit organization located in Laguna Beach, Orange
County California. Their main goal is to focus on domestic violence, abusive
relationships, elder abuse, as well as a women shelter. Human Options has
served over 25,000 in their sheltering and caring programs, as well as 51,000 on
the crisis hotline. Its an understatement to say that Human Options is saving
womens lives every day.
