Objective
We will be able to identify run-on sentences and be able to
place the right end punctuations at the end of every sentence.

Period
Use a period at the end of a statement. A
statement is a sentence that informs
Example: Buzz likes to fly.
Use a period at the end of an imperative. An
imperative is a sentence that is a command
Example: Andy, take the dog out for a walk.

Question Mark
Use a question mark at the end of a direct
question. A question asks something.
Example: Would you eat Mr. Potato Head?

Exclamation Point
Use an exclamation mark to express strong
feeling.
Example: REX is biting my leg!
