Objectives
Im looking for position that can help me build toward becoming a more
competent and productive person and allow me to start building the
knowledge and skills that are necessary to accompany my education and
career aspirations. I want to acquire better leadership skills and become the
type of employee that is efficient and trustworthy.
Summary
I currently have work and volunteer experience in a variety of settings. My
passion is health science and patient care but I always keep an open mind
when concerning myself with new disciplines and skill sets. I work work well
in groups and always know when to take direction. I place myself in a
teachable perspective because I believe that rewards and prestige come
from listening and collaborating with others.

Community Leadership and Activities
I am the vice-president of the kinesiology club. Our biggest project that we
head is Donate Don't Dump, a food drive program that provides food to
disadvantaged students and members of the community. In AA, I'm a GSR.
I've volunteered at a mobile blood bank on campus. When my school hosted
a STEM fare for children, I assisted my chemistry teacher by helping children
understand organic chemistry by explaining the 3-diminesional nature of
proteins using small pipe cleaners.
Other Skills and Languages:
I speak descent Spanish but I am not fluent. I am proficient in Microsoft
Office and any other basic computer application. I am good with my hands
and good with people.
Talents and Hobbies:
When I'm not working or in school, I like to surf or snowboard. I also took a
piano class last year and enjoy learning new songs and playing for people. I
live with my girlfriend in Escondido and we enjoy watching football or just
hanging out with the cat. I also like to stay fit by jogging or hiking. I'm the
type of person that likes to stay busy and active. I think it makes me a
positive and likable person.
