Philosophy

I believe that building a great

society starts in the classroom.

Learning for
success
Both teachers and coaches
should inspire their students to
become both better people and
better citizens. Civic
engagement, promotion of
community involvement and
working towards a positive goal
are the key to success both in
and out of the classroom.

Positive Ethic
I believe that as an educator it
is my responsibility to
encourage my students while
providing them with a
challenging and diverse
experience. Differentiation is
the primary component of my
diversification.

Education is the kindling of a

flame, not the filling of a vessel.

Willing to Teach &

Coach
I competed as a USWA DIII
wrestler in college, and have
competed in sports my entire
life. I played baseball from the
age of 7 until college. I also
played football, soccer, and
basketball through my life. I
was state champion JROTC drill

commander as a senior in high

school. I believe that sports can
serve as an additional area for
students to grow. I am willing
to coach any sport, even one I
never competed in, simply
because I believe that much in
extracurricular activities.
While my license is in Social
Studies I am willing to teach
additional classes that are
outside of the traditional
classroom. I was an electricians
apprentice and have
mechanical knowledge to teach
shop if needed in a school. In
the military I was a motor

transportation operator and

that skill set could be used to
teach drivers education if
needed.
