Therearetwodefinitionsoftruth.Oneissynonymouswithfacts,thetypethatisproven
andbackedbyscience.Thesetruthsaretrueregardlessthesituation.Theotherisrelative,the
typethatisbasedonmoralsandbeliefs.Nowthesetruths,areoftensubjecttoargument.
ItisinevitablytruethatthereisgravitypullingtheoutsideofEarthtowardsitscore.That
isafacttaughtinsixthgradetodenythisbasicfactisignorantandborderlinestupid(pardonmy
harshness).Knowingfoundationalfactsisveryimportant.Knowingwhyeverythingthatgoesup
mustcomedownandknowingthatitistrueisbasicknowledgeofhowourworldworks.It
comesdowntoacknowledgingandacceptingfactssciencehasprovedtobetrue.Ifyoudonot
believeinthesetruths,seekhelp.
Separatefromfactualtruths,though,arethetruthsthatdefineaperson.Thisisa
completelyseperateballpark.Itisreasonabletoassume,thatforagoodpartofthepopulation,
peoplegenerallybelieveittobetruethatthethekillingofinnocentpeopleisunjustifiedand
cruel.NowIamnotsuggestingthesepeopleareallpacifistbutthattheywouldnottypically
walkdownthestreetandkilltheelderly,catwomanwholivestwodoorsdown.Knowingnot
murdersomeoneshowswhatthesepeoplesmoralsare,howtheywereraised,andjustgenerally
theirtruths.Theproblemwithmakingthataselfproclaimeduniversaltruthissomeofthemen
andorwomendoinghardtimeformurder.Okay,yes,grantedsomeofthesepeoplearejustbad
people.Youknow,thetypeofofpeoplewhoendalifeassomekindofinitiationprocessor
pettyrevengebecausetheirhusbandcheatedonthembutthetypeIamtalkingaboutarethe
evangelists,theextremist,andthementallyunstable.Extremist,forexample,killinthenameof
somegreaterpowerbecausetheywholeheartedly,truthfullybelievethattheyarecalledtodo

that.Theybelieveitwasthetruththatthosepeopledeservedtodie.Icannotagreethatthatis
infactatruth,andwouldevenarguethatitisneverokaytomurderanyonebecauseofsome
extremeview.Itisbecauseofthesepeople,itcannotbesaidwithaonehundredpercenttruth
that,everyoneknowsbetterthantokillinnocentsorpeoplewereraisedbettertoknowthatit
isseverelyfrownedupontotakesomeoneelseslife.
Asanextensionofmylastpoint,hereisthis.Thegreyareaoftruthwillalwayscomesin
whenopinionsormoralsaretreatedequallyasfacts.Themostpresentanddebatedexampleis
religion.Inthedeepmiddleeast,womenaresubjectedtoalesserleveloflifeoverallbecause
theyarethoughtofasinferior.Part,ifnotall,ofthatmindsetisbuiltonthefoundationof
religion.Becauseofthatmindset,thousandsofwomenarebeingabusedandmurdered.Tothe
culprits,itistruethatthosewomendeservethat.Ithinkitwouldbesafetosaymostpeoplehere
wouldfindthatfalse.Thegreyareais,justbecauseitisnottruetous,doesnotmakeitanyless
trueforthem.Andbecauseofthesebuttingdisagreementsnationsfightoversubjectivetruths.
Therearetwotypesoftruth.ThefirstoneyouandImustagreeon,noifs,ands,orbuts.
Andthesecondone,1weprobablywillnotagreeon.
