GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Dedicate a minimum of 15 hours per week, starting in February 2015 and
continuing through mid-June 2015, with the possibility to extend longer
(Location: 1728 14th St NW, Floor 4, Washington DC)
An adaptable working style, with the ability to work proactively, independently
and collaboratively as part of the team
Demonstrate resourcefulness in setting priorities, when juggling several
assignment at once; ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong proficiency in the Adobe Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator,
InDesign, and Premiere)
Knowledge of design for print and web media
Interest in storytelling through multimedia
Impeccable eye for design + aesthetic
Experience in photography, video and/or film production a plus
The design, content and multi-media intern will assist the content and production
teams in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to the following:
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with content, production and design teams to conceptualize,
craft and execute engaging materials + campaigns for website, social media
channels, communications and print
Maintain and manage content vault; sort, organize and propose content to be
used in various campaign leading up to and day of sweetlife festival
Assist with the design of communication pieces
Maintain various sweetlife partner relationships; act as communications liaison
to secure their multi-media and content needs
Work closely with content team to compile all the necessary video content for
the jumbotron screens, for day-of production
Develop and execute final production content grid
Act as day-of sweetlife festival liaison + content support for production team,
coordinating photo drops, edits, FTP support, and maintaining order in multimedia production space
