Directions: Your task is to speak in the point-of-view of any character you wish that is in
the Oliver Twist film we viewed in class. However, you must be sure you use that
characters tone and opinions, not your own. You will be writing a formal letter to Queen
Victoria regarding the topics of poverty and orphans in whichever characters point-ofview you choose.
This must be a well-developed letter with at least two(2) paragraphs. Each paragraph
should contain 6-8 sentences each. Your letter must be typed, not handwritten. You
