Consistent Quality Through Chan Times Six Distinct Advantages Why You Should Opt for High Quality Concrete Masonry Units (CMU) (Precast Concrete Hollow Block) ‘Structural strength “The excelent manviacturing process of tg Besser Plant (made in U.S.A) produces qualily and high strength concrete masonry units. These CMU have a minimum compressive strength of 7Nmm (1000ps!) and are relable and predctabo undor comprassWve and tenslesresses. Economy ‘Al CMU fora gven size are of exact dimensions and this mskes bocklaying 20 much easier and foster. Compared to normal bricks, the size ofthe CMU are about ve times larger In surace area, enabling faster completon of work, Bocase a the high compresave length. the Blocks are not easy «damaged by ough nanding on sf. Hence, wastage Is minimal. Transporiaton of palletsod blocks furter reduces breakages. ll hese help you eave terms of materia, labour, time and costs Sound Insulation ‘Du to the high donsky and hollow caves, 2 CMU wall has exellent sound insulation, These sound inulin propertios Keep your working and living ‘environment quiet and poscof, an important coneidoration In terrace housing, soheo, eparimental and nda busing. CMU is incombustble and could rot starr spresd a fire. OMU i rarely omaged by tre, K does not buckle ike ste, ‘pal ke renforce concrete or bun tke timber” ‘Other Uses (CMU are ideal for reinforced masonry stuctires. Ste! reinforcement canbe installed Inthe caves ofthe CMU and the same grouted thus enhancing its ‘ienurl and tensile resistance. Ths eiminstes the use of shutlering oF form wore and the constuction period and cost can be furher reduced.
