Assalamualikum Muneem,

Read with patience. Its simple except with some difficulties. Before starting create a
gmail id. Google groups have many advantages over yahoo groups as we have
experienced. Steps........

1. Go to the homepage of Google.

2. See above some words like web, image etc. click on 'more' and then 'groups'

3. Find written 'Create a group in 3 steps', click the button 'create a group' below
these three steps.

4. Now you need to have a gmail id. Create one. I am sending an invitation to you.
sign in with the gmail id.

5. Now write your 'group name', 'group id' and 'DESCRIPTION'. This 'description' is
important. If its short they will not allow you open a group. error messages will
come. So write a group description as long as possible within 300 words. Then
choose an 'access level'. It should be 'restricted'. then click the button 'create
group'

6. then find written 'For verification purposes please type the characters you see in
the picture below.....................................' type the character. then click 'create my
group'

7. Now another important step. below the heading wrtitten ' invite members by
email' and 'add members directly'. click the blue 'add members directly'.

8. the view will change with a Note. Write all the email addresses by separating with
coma and a space those you want to include in your group. all need not to be gmail
id, any id yahoo or hotmail is acceptable. Then write a 'welcome message'. It also
should be big enough to convince google that it is a real group. then check 'Send
email for each message and update'

9. then click 'add members' button. Now group has been created. You can visit the
group by clicking the link given there and manage differentj joptions. you can also
send mails to the group that is to all the members of the group by directly from
your mail address
write the groups mail address in your address bar, for example
therelatives@googlegroups.com. Seek help from the almighty Allah swt.
