Before Mextemla became what it is today, it used to be two separate countries

called Mexico and Guatemala. During 1914 Mexico and Guatemala had a war
deciding until where would Mexico have land. During the war the thing they
where fighting about changed. Now they where fighting who gets to invade the
whole country. Mexico ended up winning and took Guatemala's country as its
own. Although Mexico now had gotten Guatemala to them they still wanted a little
bit of them in their country's name. Jos Mara Morelos y Pavn are the ones
who came up with the name of Mextemla by combining both names Mxico and
Guatemala.
