Internship - Hardware-in-the-loop simulation

The application area is building for the future testing automotive ECUs hardware
-in-the-loop (HIL) simulators on. The control units, ranging from power train (e
ngine, transmission) via Dynamic Drive Control Units (ESP, steering, air suspens
ion), safety-related control devices (airbags, pretensioners) and driver assista
nce ECUs (ACC, lane change assistant) to hybrid and electric vehicle ECUs ( Batt
ery Management).
Learn the practical know the work of a hardware-in-the-loop engineering and supp
ort you, depending on the major field of study current projects in the field of
automotive modeling, control of test arrangements and simulation of ECUs.
Your responsibilities:
Modeling of sensors and actuators
Further development of the existing tool chains
Implementation of benchmarks for new HIL projects
Your profile:
Advanced studies of electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science, auto
motive engineering or comparable degree programs
Getting knowledge of Matlab / Simulink
Knowledge in control engineering and programming skills in C benefit
Ability to work independently and high reliability
