Session Description
I was following a facebook account that is just a great source for instructions
to develop their teaching. At this time I was reading about a new list of these
tools, and the larger purpose is to keep the involvement of teachers and
inform them of the latest web-based educational platforms to use and benefit
from them in their work. Such as Encyclopedia of Life, Bookshare, Explore
Science, Educurious, Biodigital Human, and Clarify.
Also, in the facebook, I found an article in an account that call neweducation
that I have been following for a long time. This article talks about LOGO in
education and how it is helpful for students. This article titled"7 basic skills
that Logo develops them for children" Some examples of the 7 basic skills are

innovation, and creativity, and Improve reading, writing and following
instructions to get to the solutions.
"3 of the best search engines applications for teachers" this was what I read
for today. It talks about the best 3 search engines that could help teachers with
their search. The first engine application is App Crawlr. It considers the best
for teachers. This application uses a new approach for collecting data and it
depends on " statistical modeling technologies".The second application is

My last hours in this social media were reading this article about game design
competition titled," Dear to be Digital 2015," by Rebecca Paddick | March 13,
2015. I found this article amazing! How students are engaged to build their
own game to compete with other for prizes from BAFTA, Channel 4 and
others.Professor Louis Natanson, Head of the School of Arts, Media and
Computer Games at Abertay University, said: Dare to be Digital was set up to
give students the best chance of working in the games industry, but since
2000 that industry has changed beyond anyones imagination." Is not that
awesome! now students can take time on their own to create something that
could make a different in the industry. I believe the right direction theses
students will be something great in the future. I really like this article, that
made me take looking for something similar in my country and I was surprised
that there are led to this kind of learning and people day by day give this new
industry more attention.
