To
Whom
It
May
Concern,
Brittany
Hearn
has
completed
her
clinical
experience
in
my
second
grade
classroom
at
Erial
Elementary
School.
She
has
spent
the
past
15
weeks
observing,
assisting,
and
teaching
a
diverse
group
of
students.
Our
class
consists
of
nineteen
students,
with
six
receiving
Resource
Room
services.
Ms.
Hearn
has
shown
awareness
of
different
learning
styles
and
has
varied
instruction
to
meet
the
needs
of
the
students.
Ms.
Hearn
was
responsible
for
instruction
in
LAL,
Writing,
Mathematics,
Social
Studies,
and
Science.
She
had
the
opportunity
to
teach
small
groups
as
well
as
whole
class.
She
worked
with
the
children
to
develop
their
writing
skills.
She
created
a
unit
of
poetry,
culminating
with
a
project
based
on
The
Giving
Tree.
She
worked
diligently
with
the
students
to
build
their
math
skills
to
achieve
our
core-curriculum
standards
and
goals.
Brittany
performed
all
her
teaching
duties
in
a
responsible
and
dependable
manner.
She
worked
cooperatively
with
me
taking
suggestions
and
modifying
lessons
to
motivate
the
students.
It
was
evident
that
she
has
the
ability
to
establish
a
daily
routine
and
manage
classroom
behavior.
Ms.
Hearn
possesses
a
positive
personality
and
enjoys
working
with
the
students.
Her
rapport
with
the
children
encouraged
their
enthusiasm
for
learning.
I
believe
Ms.
Hearn
will
continue
to
grow
as
an
effective
teacher
as
she
is
given
the
opportunity.
If
you
would
like
any
further
information,
feel
free
to

me.
Sincerely,
Frances
