TYLOSIN 20%

DESCRIPTION
An antibiotic formulation containing Tylosin Tartrate for the treatment of CRD in poultry, swine
dysentry in pigs and other respiratory, gastro-intestinal & genito-urinary infections in, poultry, pigs,
calves, lambs and goat kids.

COMPOSITION
Contains per gram:
Tylosin Tartrate ...............200 mg

INDICATIONS
Poultry: TYLOSIN 20% WSP is effective against Mycoplasma Gallisepticum S6, which is the causative agent of
chronic respiratory disease (CRD) complex in chickens, and infectious sinusitis in turkeys. It is also effective
against Colibacillosis, Salmonellosis, Erysipelas of turkeys and septicaemia in all species of poultry.
Pigs: In pigs, TYLOSIN 20% WSP is used in cases of Erysipelas, enzootic pneumonia, septicaemia and
dysentery.
Calves, lambs and goat kids: TYLOSIN 20% WSP is effective against the following micro- organisms;
Leptospirosis, vibriosis, salmonellosis, colibacillosis and post operative infections and enterotoxemias.

CONTRAINDICATIONS / PRECAUTIONS
Hypersensitivity and resistance to Tylosin and other macrolide anibiotics
Use only in pre-ruminant calves, lambs and goat kids

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

For oral administration via feed or drinking water
Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours
When used in feed, the medicated feed should be used immediately
THE DURATION OF TREATMENT FOR ALL SPECIES IS 5-7 DAYS
