What recurring factors were leading causes of both WW1 & WW2?
The assassination of Archduke Ferdinand in 1914, the militarism, nationalism,
imperialism, and alliance systems were all causes of World War 1. Austria-Hungary
and Serbia werent getting along. Austria-Hungary sent a letter to Serbia telling
them all of their disagreements and Serbia agreed to all of them but two. They
declared war between each other. Every country was trying to help others so they
all kept declaring war on each other. Thats how ww1 started.
When Adolf Hitler came to power, everything escaladed. Hitler invaded
Poland causing other countries to get mad. France and Britain declared war on
Germany which started ww2. The politic and economic instability in Germany were
other reasons too.
Why did nations like Germany, Italy & Japan allow themselves to be led by
autocratic regimes?
Germany, Italy, and japan were led by autocratic regimes because they would
have been punished or executed if they criticized the government. They didnt really
have a choice. Autocratic regimes are like when a country is led by one person and
they have the authority over others.
Should the world have a global problem solving organization were
members adhere to decisions of the collective?
Yes, I think that the world should have a global solving organization. Members
would probably get mad at each other due to disagreement. I think that it would
eventually get chaotic and start war. Then again, it could probably help and every
country could be friends, idk really.
What events provide evidence that the cold war was a struggle for power
by the US & USSR?
Eisenhowers threat to a stockpile of nuclear weapons ended up causing a
race between the US and the USSR. When the US supported the west, and the USSR
supported the east, it caused the iron curtain, which was a mess. Then they had the
whole missile crisis when the USSR wasnt listening to the US and wouldnt move
them which caused the blockade on Cuba.
Why has the world become potentially more dangerous upon the
conclusion of the Cold War?
The world is becoming more dangerous upon the conclusion of the Cold War
because nations are depending on goods that are necessities to live with. Nations
are struggling to reach the potential of other rich countries and they are trying to be
up kept with power.
Should nations restrict to civil rights to keep populations safe from
international threats?
No I think that nations should just allow people to make their own responsible
decisions, if they cannot do so they need to be locked up or something else.

Humans need freedom and rights and just because someone made one wrong
decision, it doesnt mean that all humans should be punished.
