Timel ine of Ceramics, pot t ery & gl ass

Int ro
Many arts and crafts involve vit al resources.
However,Ceramics(a type of art) consume and require
everyday materials? some Ceramics include segments of
electronics and even space craft! In addition, Ceramics are
also know for industrial uses such as sinks, bathtubs and
toilets.

Mul t if arious materials

Did you know that most Ceramics materials, made by
manufacturers, include Silica ( another name for the mineral
quartz), Talc(Bleached, grey or green mineral with a
ol eaginous feel) Feldspar( rock-forming mineral, usually
occurred as bleached crystals),and, indeed clay, generally
used used in art or pottery classes. In a nutshell, Ceramics are
non-met al l ic( they lack metal substances) and inorganic(not
consisting living substances).

Did you now that there are many qualities of Ceramics?

Here are some:

The oldest known Ceramics were occurred as figurines, found in central Europe, until industrial uses for Ceramics began in the
1900s. World War 2 (1939-1945) requirements need high-performance materials which, later, has boosted the
commencement of Ceramic science and engineering. This realisation of Ceramic superconduct ors in the 1980s encouraged
intense global inquiries to develop Ceramic parts for electronic devices.

Carbide-calcium carbide (CaC2), used to generate acetylene by reaction with water
and formerly used in portable lamps.

In Conclusion, this unique art

(as well as this old) art has
been used for industrial as
well as artistic uses. This is
used in the world now, and it
will eventually stand out over

Cul inary- a cooking device used cooking matters.

Ref ract ory- material having the ability to retain its physical shape and chemical
identity when subjected to high temperatures.

Superconduct or-the phenomenon of almost perfect conductivity shown by certain

substances at temperatures approaching absolute zero. The recent discovery of
materials that are superconductive at temperatures hundreds of degrees above
absolute zero raises the possibility of revolutionary developments in the production
and transmission of electrical energy.
