8th Geography !

Mr. Nesheim!

8th GRADE GEOGRAPHY FINAL PROJECT!

The concept of human environment interaction is one of the most complex ideas in geography.
For your final project you will be responsible for researching how humans interact with their
physical environment in two countries. You will compare and contrast how these two countries
are affected by their surroundings. For example, how does a country's location impact trade?
How does a country's landscape impact movements of people? How do natural resources
influence the country's economy?!

Instructions!
1. Pick two countries** from the SAME REGION!
2. Research the countries and take notes!
3. Turn in your notes and a 1-2 page outline of your presentation/paper!
4. Prepare a 5-7 minute PowerPoint presentation!
5. Write a 3-5 page comparison paper!

!
**no two students can choose the same countries!
