In both Music and String classes, students will be preparing for their String Concert on June 4th. Following that performance, students will complete a short reflection for their portfolios. All
remaining lessons will be dedicated to learning more rhythmic notation and solfege in preparation for G4 music.

Court Games/Invasion Games


Students begin to look for and move to space using a variety of games equipment
Students participate in basic coordination based activities to as an introduction to different invasion games.
Students begin to understand the need for control when playing games

Library

Students will be continuing to develop their understanding of the research process through a personal inquiry focussing on the concept of form. They will review the library management
system, accessing Destiny Quest, eBooks and locating physical resources they will reflect on what they have learnt this year and how these skills will help them in their information seeking.

EAL

Students will continue to develop their descriptive writing skills, focusing on use of adjectives. Students will also experiment with some forms of poetry. When reading, sequencing,
inference and prediction skills will be practised. Students will develop their confidence in reading aloud, speaking in front of classmates and presenting their ideas on a text.

Art

Students will explore form while working with clay and studying sculpture. If there is extra time, students will interpret their own artwork and the art of others through poetry. Students will
complete their post-assessment observational drawings and reflect on their progress in art this year.
